Several outstanding police personnel and police stations, along with community partners, were honored by the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office during the culminating activity of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month celebration.
The July 31, 2025 ceremony at Camp Msg. Francisco M. Camacho graced by Virac Councilor Angelo Piolo M. Laynes, who emphasized the crucial shared responsibility between the police and the community in achieving a truly peaceful and orderly society.
The awardees were: PCpl. Jannel S. Sales as the Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO) for PCR; Virac MPS as number 1 police station in PCR with an impressive rating of 97.44%, San Miguel MPS as number 2 with 97.31%, Baras MPS as number 3 with 97.27%; and the Catanduanes 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (Cat1st PMFC) as Top Performing Mobile Force Company in PCR with an average rating of 99.51%.
The Catanduanes police also extended its gratitude to its dedicated community partners, whose collaboration is vital to the success of police initiatives: Geronimo Tabuzo, general manager of Rapide Catanduanes; Jimma V. Tadoy, Municipal Agriculturist of Virac LGU; Lina Timbal, Officer-in-Charge of TESDA-Cabugao School of Handicraft and Cottage Industries; Catanduanes Oragon Pistoleros Gun Club Inc., represented President Jose F. Tabligan; and Bicol Catanduanes Region 1, The Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles Inc., represented by Regional Treasurer Nelson Marino
