Responding personnel of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Emergency Rescue Unit brought two persons to the Eastern Bicol Medical Center (EBMC) last Friday, Jan. 11, 2020, after they sustained injuries in a collision between two vehicles in Virac.
According to accident investigators of the Bato police station, the black Kawasaki Barako 175 tricycle driven by First Catanduanes Electric Cooperative, Inc. (FICELCO) employee Beda Gianan, 31, a resident of Palnab del Norte, Virac, was turning left towards Marinawa, Bato at 10:45 A.M. when it was hit on the left side by a speeding Suzuki Raider 150 motorcycle driven by student Aaron Tayamora, 23, of Solong, San Miguel.
The crash inflicted bodily injuries to Gianan and the backrider in the Suzuki, identified as Jasmine Masendo, 25, a midwife and also from Solong.
