Caramoran man who evaded law for 12 years finally arrested in Cavite

A resident of Caramoran who skipped town before a warrant for his arrest was issued in 2014 was finally apprehended by the police in Bacoor, Cavite last week.

Personnel of the Caramoran Municipal Police Station led by officer-in-charge, PLt. Mar Joseph A. Reburiano, with the assistance of the Bacoor City Police Station, nabbed Victor Sales dela Rosa, 54, at his residence at Adas 4 Village in barangay Mambog at 3:28 PM of Aug. 9, 2026.

Dela Rosa had been charged with violation of Republic Act 6425, or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972, under Criminal Case No. 2383, with bail recommended at P120,000.00.

Then Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 43 Presiding Judge Lelu P. Contreras issuing the arrest warrant on Jan. 23, 2014.

The Caramoran MPS said that the arrest was property documented using Body-Worn Cameras and witnesses by two relatives of the accused.

He was brought for the mandatory physical and medical examination at Bubbles Medical and Maternity Lying-In Clinic and is now in custody of the Caramoran MPS for proper disposition and booking procedures.
