Footage from a closed-circuit television (CCTV) network proved pivotal in the apprehension of a man suspected of robbing a business establishment in San Andres town the other Wednesday.
The report from the town police said that at 9 AM of Aug. 27, 2025, an employee of the establishment reported to the station the loss of a laptop from their office.
Investigation showed that the CCTV record showed the robber inside the store several hours earlier.
The police then launched a hot pursuit operation that resulted in the arrest of a certain “Bimboy,” 22, a resident of barangay Comagaycay.
Recovered from the suspect was the stolen laptop computer and a cellphone.
