Virac Pilot ES, Catanduanes NHS top 2026-2027 DSPC

The island’s biggest schools dominated the 2026-2027 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held recently in Virac.

Campus journalists of the Virac Pilot Elementary School scored a total of 138 points, topped by first-place wins in six individual events and one group event.

Rounding out the top five are Juan M. Alberto Memorial Elementary School (110 points), Catanduanes State University Laboratory Schools (80 points), San Andres Central Elementary School (78 points), and Star Learners School, Inc. (50 points).

In the secondary level, Catanduanes National High School stamped its class once again, with more than 10 wins in the individual and group events, raking in a total of 206 points.

More than a hundred points behind was 2^nd-ranked San Andres Vocational School with 86 points, followed by Viga Rural Development High School with 84 points, Pandan School of Arts and Trades with 74 points, and CatSU Laboratory Schools with 66 points.

The top three winners in the individual contests will compete in the regional level along with the top teams in the group competitions.
