A native of San Miguel, Catanduanes who fled to faraway Boac in Marinduque has been arrested in connection with a 2002 incident of frustrated homicide.
Joint elements of the San Miguel police led by Pat. Kristoffer Dan Garcia, under the direct supervision of officer-in-charge PCapt. Renee Albao, together with CIDG Catanduanes Field Unit, Regional Intelligence Unit 4B, Boac MPS, Marinduque Provincial Police Office and Maritime Police Marinduque, apprehended Jonee Tayamora Teves, 66, last Sept. 11, 2025 at barangay Mercado in Boac on the basis of the warrant of arrest issued by then RTC Branch 43 Presiding Judge Lelu P. Contreras under Criminal Case 3183 with recommended bail of P25,000.
A native of Patagan, San Miguel, the jobless man had been a resident of Mansiwat, Boac before his arrest.
Court records show that the case against him was based on a violent incident that occurred on July 24, 2002, with the warrant issued by the court on Sept. 19. 2014.
