Drug enforcement agents and police personnel arrested a laborer in Virac who allegedly yielded shabu in a buy-bust operation last week.
According to the belated report, personnel from the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) as the lead unit and the Virac municipal police station in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional office mounted the operation against Jester Molina Lumbao, 26, of barangay Lanao, last Jan. 5, 2023.
The team confiscated from the suspect four (4) transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 20 grams with an estimated street value of P136,000.00 and one genuine PhP1,000.00 bill on top of several pieces of boodle money used as buy-bust money.
He will be charged with violation of pertinent provisions of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
