
A son of an engineer-couple from the Department of Public Works & Highways Catanduanes District Engineering Office is now a doctor of medicine after passing the Physician Licensure Examination recently.
Dr. Noel Lee Vargas Balmadrid is the son of the late Engr. Noel Balmadrid and wife Engr. Cristie Vargas-Balmadrid of Francia, Virac.
A product of the Catanduanes National High School (CNHS) and the Division Pilot Special Science & Math Class (DPSSMC) at Virac Pilot Elementary School (VPES), he took up Bachelor of Science in Biology as his pre-Med course at Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City.
He graduated with two degrees at the same prestigious institution: Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, Manila.
He was among the 1,677 out of 2,302 hopefuls who hurdled the Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in Manila and Tuguegarao last October 30, 31 and Nov. 1 and 2, 2021.
