Catanduanes Negosyo Centers participate in this year’s B.O.S.S. (Business-One-Stop-Shop) period

Six Negosyo Centers of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Catanduanes provincial office are collaborating with municipal local government units during this year’s B.O.S.S. (Business-One-Stop-Shop) period.

One of the major functions of Negosyo Centers is to facilitate Business Name registrations and assist MSMEs in securing other business permits, thus providing ease and convenience to the process flow of business registrations with its expected influx every start of the year.

The B.O.S.S. is held province-wide with varying schedules per municipality. For the capital town of Virac, which has the highest number of business registrations per year, the BOSS period has been extended until March.

The Virac Negosyo Center Business Counselor is on duty at the Municipal Treasurer’s Office every Monday and Thursday, from 8:30-4:00 PM until the end of the B.O.S.S. Period in said municipality.

The DTI currently has six Negosyo Centers in Catanduanes: 1 each in Virac, Pandan, San Andres, Caramoran, Baras and Viga. Only Negosyo Center Virac is Provincial Office-based while the rest are LGU-based.

One of the objectives of the Negosyo Center’s presence especially in far-flung municipalites is to deliver the DTI services closer to potential and existing local entrepreneurs. Business owners who have yet to register are encouraged to do so in order to secure the identity of their business and to further protect the interest of both the owner and the consumers.

For all business owners who will be registering their businesses, please visit the DTI Catanduanes or your nearest Negosyo Center.
