Still another high-value individual in the illegal drug trade has been arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the police in Virac recently.

Elements of the Virac police station and the Catanduanes Provincial Intelligence Unit collared Ryan Tatel Posada, 35, also known as “Lambot,” after targeting him in the operation on Dec. 21, 2020.

A police officer masquerading as a buyer made the arrest as soon as Posada accepted the P500 buy-bust money and handed over the small transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules.

A search of his vehicle yielded 11 more sachets of the illegal drug contained in another sachet that was found inside a black belt bag secured to the steering wheel of the tricycle.

Also seized as evidence were a Huawei cellular phone inside the same bag and the tricycle itself.

According to intelligence officials at Camp Camacho, Posada is included in the provincial drug watchlist as a high-value individual.
