The premier organization of islanders abroad, the Catanduanes International Association, Inc. (CIA), celebrated its 34th Anniversary and 12th Grand Reunion recently in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Held last May 3-4, 2025 at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino, the event also saw the oathtaking of the new officers of the Catanduanes Association, USA (CAUSA) before CIA Legal Counsel Atty. Edna V. Wenning, in the presence of CIA, Inc. President Rene B. Alcantara.

The new officers are: Medy Solero Hidalgo, President; Marilyn V. Balico, Vice President-Internal; Evelyn Scott, Vice President-External; Cecilio Francisco Jr., Vice President-USA; Lina Ariate, Vice President-Canada; Marilyn Alcantara, Secretary; Lorna Crain, Treasurer; Rudy Alcantara, Auditor; Jocelyn T. Vitug, PRO; Victor Idava, Business Manager; Dr. Solomon Alcantara, Remy A. Arcilla, Marilyn V. Balico, Salvador S. Deauna, Carmen A. Delacerna, Manny Dela Vega, Luvie Sanchez, Josefina Surban and Dr. Minerva S. Victoria, Board of Directors; Lydia T. Mendez, Jaime I. Sanchez (+), Cely T. Deauna, Manny B. Quintal Esq., and Levi T.
