
Earlier at Camp Francisco Camacho, PCol. Gayo witnessed the donation of an aircon unit and solar inverter from the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI) and the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI), respectively, to the local police. He likewise presented a plaque of appreciation from PNP Bicol Regional Director PBGen. Andre Perez Dizon to the Catanduanes PPO Press Corps represented by Marlon Suplig.
Other highlights of the command visit was the awarding of certificates of recognition to police officers, PNCOs and NUPs for their outstanding accomplishments under PD Quijano’s Project B.E.S.T. (Beyond Expectation and Setting Trends) and the presentation of cakes to birthday celebrants of the month under Project CAKE (Celebrate and Acknowledge every personnel to Kindle team Spirit and Enhance morale).
During his Talk to Personnel, ADRDA Gayo emphasized that to be an effective police officer, one must “know their job, do their job, and do it well”. He reminded the COPs and Force Commanders to strengthen the police presence and visibility in their respective AORs, and to continue the implementation of Buddy System during patrolling and conduct of Internal Security Operations (ISO) activities, as well as the maximization of the usage of long firearms especially on the critical areas. With PD Quijano’s leadership especially on the security preparedness, PCol. Gayo expressed confidence that the goals of PRO 5 and RD Dizon’s initiatives will be achieved in the province of Catanduanes in no time. He further commended PD Quijano’s initiatives, Project BEST and Project CAKE) for recognizing the personnel’s milestones and accomplishments which uplifts their morale and welfare.
