Police collar two men wanted for murder try, illegal numbers game

Caramoran police authorities arrested a 34-year-old fisherman last week in connection with a case for attempted murder filed against him before the Regional Trial Court.

Personnel of the town police under the supervision of officer-in-charge Capt. Ali-Marjan Amanon served the warrant on Noli Pante Onan in barangay Panique at 2 PM of Sept. 27, 2024.

Bail for his provisional liberty has been set at P120,000.00 by RTC Branch 42 Acting Presiding Judge Ritche Reyes Regala for the case docketed as Criminal Case No. 11378.

A day earlier in San Isidro Village, Virac law enforcers apprehended Rolly Aquino Sualibio, 50, an unemployed resident of Cabcab, San Andres, on the basis of the warrant of arrest issued by the same court for violation of PD 1602 as amended by Sec. 3(c) of Republic Act 9287 that increased the penalties for participation and operation of illegal numbers games.

Bail for his temporary freedom pending trial was set at P60,000.00.
