THIRTY (30) SOLAR STREETLAMPS were donated by MCGI-UNTV to the Catanduanes police last Feb. 19, 2024 for installation along its perimeter fence. MCGI Bro. Danny Navales and Catanduanes PD Col. Rayan Ador unveils the marker on the streetlamp as other top police officers and MCGI-UNTV representatives look on.

Philippine media station UNTV and its public service partner, Members Church of God International (MCGI) last week turned over 30 solar streetlamps to the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office for installation along the perimeter fence of Camp Francisco Camacho.

MCGI Overall Servant Daniel Razon was unable to join the event as he was in Honduras and was represented by Bro. Danny Navales, who read his message to the provincial police command headed by Provincial Director Col. Rayan Ador during the Feb. 19, 2024 event.

“We owe you a debt of gratitude for allowing us to offer our voluntary assistance to the men and women of the Catanduanes police,” the MCGI leader said.

The MCGI Cares program implemented together with UNTV donated along with the solar streetlamps, several wheelchairs, aluminum crutches for PWDs, nebulizers and grocery packs.

The mission also provided free medical, dental, optical and legal assistance to the local police in recognition of their service to peace and order in the community.

PD Ador and the MCGI-UNTV officials also signed a memorandum of understanding to establish linkages on the preventive approach to crime and insurgency, recognize MCGI-UNTV as its partner, and assist in ensuring access to UNTV in police stations in its news gathering functions.
