EIGHT MUNICIPALITIES have now seen the potential of Starlink satellite internet and have expressed their willingness to invest in acquiring their own units for deployment in “dead spot” areas especially in remote villages. The youth group Sinag Kabataan headed by chairperson Fred Benedict T. Gianan (top right) brought the technology to Dugui Too in Virac, San Vicente in San Andres, Tinago in Viga, Caramoran, San Miguel, Gigmoto, Bato and Baras to demonstrate its capabilities especially in online learning and emergency communication during calamities.
