Pandan LGU worker nabbed in buy-bust op

Twin charges for violation of the dangerous drug law will be filed against a Pandan LGU casual worker who was caught in a buy-bust operation last Jan. 8, 2025.

According to the report from the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office, joint personnel of the Pandan polive station under the supervision of officer-in-charge PCpt. Renee R. Albao, and the Provincial Intelligence Unit headed by PCpl. Marlon Francis Tolledo and acting under the direction of PLt. Col. Joseph A. Jarabejo mounted the operation that led to the arrest of Joseph Lopez Luna, 39, and a resident of Tariawara, at 3:51 PM.

The police confiscated as evidence two plastic sachets containing while crystalline substance believed to be shabu that was sold to an undercover police office, one more sachet containing the same material found in his possession, two genuine P500 bills and four fake bills used as boodle money, a cellphone and a motorcycle.

The police has yet to release the results of the investigation as well as that of the laboratory examination of the drug evidence.
