MOST OF THE 19 PATIENT RESCUE VEHICLES

MOST OF THE 19 PATIENT RESCUE VEHICLES from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) have been turned over to the 11 LGUs in Catanduanes through Gov. Patrick Alain T. Azanza last week.
Unlike ambulances, the vehicles are modified utility vehicles specifically designed to transport patients with non-life-threatening conditions, including scheduled medical visits, hospital discharges, and the transport of victims from road accidents and disasters. They are equipped with blinkers or sirens as well as essential medical tools, including a stretcher, blood pressure monitor, and other supplies to ensure the safe and timely transport of patients.
