CatPPO officer wins nat’l search for most outstanding community affairs, dev’t PNCO

A senior police non-commissioned officer of the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office has been chosen as a national awardee for her work in police community affairs and development.

PMsg. Ludy Lynn I. Mosquera received the PNP Plaque of Merit for Outstanding Service at the culminating activity of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month celebration, with the theme, “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka!,” during the July 31, 2025 ceremony at the PNP Multi-Purpose Center at Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame.

Mosquera, the Senior Action PNCO of the Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit (PCADU) of the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office (CatPPO), was selected as the Outstanding Police Community Affairs and Development (PCAD) Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Calendar Year 2025.

She also made history as the first female PNP personnel from Catanduanes PPO to receive such a prestigious national-level award from the PNP National Headquarters.

Top officials of the Philippine National Police, including National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer, Commissioner Rafael Vicente R. Calinisan, honored outstanding police personnel from across the nation.

This recognition stands as a testament to PMSg Mosquera’s unwavering commitment to community service and her vital role in strengthening police-community relations, exemplifying the values and professionalism of the PNP, the Catanduanes police said.
