
In a Hollywood glamour-themed event, the Rotary Club of Virac inducted a new set of officers for 2025-2026 at the Grand Ballroom of the Rakdell Hotel last Friday, June 20, 2025.
District Governor Jeremie Lo of District 3820 inducted Heart Working President Ednalyn San Ramon while immediate Past President Aurora Araojo turned over the Bell and Gavel, symbols of the honor and responsibility that the position holds.
Notable in the new set of Officers is the Vice President and President Nominee for next year, Normilyn Zafe-Marino, and Club Secretary Mary Grace Teope.
President Ednalyn San Ramon is ably supported by a Club Learning Facilitator, immediate Past President Aurora Araojo, Treasurer Marife Evangelista, other officers and Committee Chairs and members.
Diocese of Virac’s Bishop Louie Occiano, a Rotary Club of Naga member was inducted as an Honorary Member of Rotary Club of Virac.
The Rotary Club of Naga is the mother club of Rotary Club of Virac and is also where the District Governor Jeremie Lo was a Past President.
A total of 44 Rotarians comprises the club, 20 members of which became Past Presidents.
Six (6) new members were inducted, namely, Patricia Surtida, Merphil Janelyn Zafe , Rene John Velasco, Roderick Isidoro, Alain Omar De Leon and Janster Bonavente.
Last June 8, the Virac club celebrated its 20th year anniversary with significant activities which started with a celebration of the Holy Mass at the Virac Cathedral, followed by a motorcade around the población.

The Rotarians also installed on tricycles Rotary stickers bearing the familiar Four-Way Test hallmark, which is a guide to the Rotarian’s mindset and life practice.
A sumptuous lunch was served at the HB Gardens followed by a turnover ceremony signaling a change of officers for this Rotary Year from Immediate Past President Aurora Araojo to Incoming President Ednalyn San Ramon. (RC Virac MMO PP DrMZ)
