A PHILIPPINE RED CROSS VOLUNTEER, among the scores deployed by the Catanduanes chapter immediately after the passage of STY “Pepito,” inquires with a resident on the status of people living on the other side of the destroyed river crossing in a northern town as part of the chapter’s Rapid Disaster and Needs Assessment (RDANA). The Red Cross has provided hot meals and bread, basic health consultations and health promotion, along with the setting up of First Aid stations and welfare desks in the most affected areas of the province.
