PRESIDENT BONGBONG MARCOS turns over to Gov. Joseph Cua the check for P10.2 million from the Office of the President as financial assistance for farmers, fisherfolk, and their families affected by the El Niño phenomenon in Catanduanes. With the governor at the Albay Astrodome in Legazpi City last June 7, 2024 were 10 farmers who each received P10,000 cash assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) that seeks to address inflation and protect the purchasing power of Filipino families.
