Two campus journos earn spots to NSPC

The DepEd Catanduanes Schools Division will send two of its campus journalists to the 2024 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) to be held in Carcar City in Cebu province this July 8 to 24.

Rea Angelie dela Cruz of Bato Rural Development High School, coached by Rona Regine Vargas, won 1st place in Copyreading and Headline Writing (English) during the Regional Schools Press Conference held May 8 in Iriga City.

She will be joined by Marcus Gabriel Malasa of San Andres Central Elementary School, who topped News Writing (English) with the guidance of coach Rhona Columna.

Here are the other winners in both secondary and elementary levels in the 2024 RSPC:
