EIGHT (8) SBDP PROJECTS

EIGHT (8) SBDP PROJECTS were inaugurated in two towns of Catanduanes last March 15, 2024 by top officials of the DILG Regional Office V. The projects in Virac and San Miguel were implemented under the DILG’s Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), which provides infra and social project assistance to far-flung and disadvantaged barangays. Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo Escober, Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden Lucero, and the Regional Management Team (RMT) and Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) were joined by Vice Gov. Peter Cua, Mayor Samuel Laynes and Vice Mayor Arlynn Arcilla, as well as Punong Barangay Bairan Sorrera in launching a two-storey health station in Danicop. The team were likewise accompanied by San Miguel Mayor Francisco Camano Jr., municipal and barangay officials in visiting six infra projects funded under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF): Opening with Concreting of Road and Rehabilitation of Farm-to-Market Road in Balatohan; Rehabilitation/Improvement of Level III Water System in Brgy. J.M. Alberto; Rehabilitation of Farm-to-Market Road in Kilikilihan; Upgrading of Farm-to-Market Road and Rehabilitation and Improvement of Level III Water System in Pagsangahan; Upgrading of Farm-to-Market Road in Brgy. San Marcos; and Construction of Farm-to-Market Road in Brgy. Tobrehon. (AJFT/GO-Info)
