THE COMPLETION OF THE BYPASS ROAD in Baras town means motorists and commuters will be able to avoid the narrow streets of the población and head straight to their destination without much delay. The Jan. 15, 2023 inauguration of the diversion route was attended by TGP Rep. Jose Teves, Jr., Vice Gov. Peter Cua, DPWH Assistant Regional Director Marilou Lacuna, PBM Edwin Tanael, Baras Mayor Jose Paolo Teves III, Virac Mayor Samuel Laynes, Rev. Fr. Nestor Buena, and officials of national agencies.
