THE 905TH COAST GUARD AUXILIARY SQUADRON held its Induction, Donning, Promotion & Awards Ceremony last March 11, 2023 at the Function Hall of ARDCI Corporate Inn, with Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Bicol District Commander Genito Basilio as guest of honor. The latest group of new members, dubbed as Class 2023-3 Simbagsik, included a number of priests and broadcaster Rey Boton. Last week, the group, together with the Virac police and CPIC students conducted a coastal and mangrove clean-up/tree planting at Palnab del Sur in line with the 24th Pre-CGDBCL Founding Anniversary this year. About a kilometer of coastline was cleared of marine debris and 300 mangrove propagules were planted during the activity.
