A jobless resident of Bigaa, Virac yielded 10 sachets of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation mounted by joint elements of the Virac police, Catanduanes Provincial Intelligence Unit and the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit last week.
A source identified the suspect as one Alden Zafe Bueno, who was apprehended last Jan. 28, 2023 at 3:30 PM.
Aside from the illegal drugs, the police also seized from him a P500 bill used as buy-bust money.
The evidence was brought to the Regional Forensic Unit 5 at Camp Simeon Ola, Legazpi City, for laboratory examination.
Bueno was placed in custody of the Virac police pending the filing of charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
