The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Catanduanes continues to intensify its LGU-based National ID registration across the province to address high transportation costs, including elevated fuel prices on the
island, and to reduce the need for clients from far municipalities to travel long distances.
This initiative ensures that National ID registration, updating/correction, and issuance services are brought directly to local government units, making government services more accessible, efficient, and inclusive.
In May 2026, LGU-based mobile services alone recorded over 3,100 National ID requests (paper form). During the same period, 361 individuals were registered, with an average of 15 registrations per day, while 286 clients availed of updating and correction services.
Despite achieving one of the highest registration coverages in the Bicol Region, Catanduanes continues to experience a steady daily influx of registrants, reflecting sustained demand for the service.
Residents are encouraged to coordinate with their respective LGUs for the updated registration schedule in their area or visit the official Facebook page of the Philippine Statistics Authority – Catanduanes for announcements and updates.
For senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and individuals who cannot personally travel to registration sites, family members may request an appointment through tinyurl.com/NIDAppointment.
PSA Catanduanes remains committed to bringing government services closer to the people through efficient, accessible, and client-centered registration strategies.
