Farmer, student injured in Bato motorcycle accident

BATO MDRRMO PERSONNEL, assisted by a police officer, apply first aid to farmer Emilio Temones, 64, whose motorcycle sideswiped a 17-year-old student at 8 PM last Feb. 17 in barangay Mintay.

A 64-year-old farmer and a 17-year-old student were hurt when they figured in a vehicular accident in Mintay, Bato last Feb. 17, 2024.

According to the report from the Bato Municipal Police Station, Emilio Camacho Temones, 64, a resident of Ilawod, was driving his red Yamaha RS125 motorcycle along the national road at about 8 PM going to the town proper when he accidentally sideswiped Janine May Rojas, a resident of San Roque, who was then walking along the side of the road.

Both the driver and the victim sustained minor injuries and were brought by responding personnel of the Bato Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) to the Bato Maternity and Children’s Hospital for medical treatment.
